Parents, I know you hear me when I say, the tween struggle is REAL. As a parent of a tween myself, these years are trying. These are the years that our kids are are finding some independence, but at the same time they don’t quite feel comfortable in their own skin yet. They are testing boundaries and think they should be allowed certain privileges because now they are BIG kids. And we can all agree that it is exhausting.

With all the redirecting and consequences and more redirecting, and teaching, and showing them how to be a good person, and consequences, and redirecting, and teaching them how to love themselves and others, we as parents can get worn down. Our children’s brains are starting the re-wiring process that they go through during puberty and they are struggling. Everything is starting to change for them and nothing makes sense.

All Is NOT Lost

While this is most certainly a struggle, all is NOT lost. Your sweet kiddo is still in there. We just have to show them that we are there to support them and love them through this stage and the next, just like we have all the rest. And that we will always be there to lift them up. Sometimes these stages are a little harder to get through than others and sometimes it’s a simple as a confidence boost. They just need a little confidence to realize they are perfect the way they are.

Tween Sessions

A fantastic way to give your child a confidence boost and make them feel like a total ROCKSTAR is a Tween Session! These sessions are all about your child and what they love. It also includes a parent survey that is used later at the Reveal Session/Ordering Session. This survey is a crucial step because it’s all about the amazing qualities that your child possess and when they hear you gushing about them at the reveal, and they see how amazing they look in the photos, they will absolutely gain the confidence to be their own person. They will know that it’s totally ok to be who they are.

If you are interested in learning more about a Tween Session, I would be happy to schedule a consultation with you for more details. Click this link to schedule your consultation. https://candacemiller1.sproutstudio.com/invitation/pre-consultation-in-person-

I can’t wait to meet some of your kiddos! I created these sessions for the soul purpose of boosting confidence and self esteem in tweens, because they are about to hit a point in their lives where it can make or break them. Knowing that they can feel good about themselves, that they have parents that will have their back no matter what other people (ie classmates or peers) think of them will go a long way to their sense of self worth and value for the rest of their life.

A photo session just for tweens. I love that you make tweens special and their own category of portrait sessions. What a boost to show off tween beauty with photos.

Thanks, Andrea. My hope is to show them that they are perfect just the way they are. Before they hit middle and high school and try to become someone else.
